Amazing straightener!!! I have it since 2010!! 7 years now. And it works well!!! Worth the money!! Easy to use, light weight, very simple. And the result - beautiful, shiny hair - straight, curly or waved. I really recommend it! You won't regret!!! Love BRAUN products!!!
Yes, I recommend this product !
Very good product didn't damage hair at all and hair looks very very nature plus light weight, long wire and heat up very fast .
The product failed to work after just 3 uses. heated up fine to begin with, made a hissing noise which i assumed was the ions from the little green jets. On the third use, the item failed to work, I changed the fuse in the plug twice, however this had no effect, Product assigned to the recycling centre. If your hair is dry like mine due to colouring and once washed and hairdryed still looks like it needs a good cut or a palm full of hair oil look no further!!!! I have below the shoulder/mid back length blonde coloured hair which has been colour for nearly 15 years. So although I spoil myself to treatments and regular hair cuts my straighteners never really give me a feel of complete smoothness like these have. Although only used for the last few weeks colour does seem to be less brassy and brighter than around this time when it's due to be coloured but need more time with freshly coloured hair to say if it really does stop my hair from fading. But overall I believe good product for bleached and coloured hair just for the straightening and feel factor. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
When I was asked to try out the Braun Satin Hair 7 I was very excited! For ten years I have had to use the more expensive brands of straighteners as none of the others would come close to straightening and smoothing my unruly curly hair! When they arrived I couldn't wait to try them out, having just dried my hair I got to it straight away! On first inspection I noticed they were slightly bulkier than my usual straighteners but if they worked (and at over half the price of my usual) I would be happy with that. I also noticed a constant buzzing noise when the straighteners are switched on, slightly annoying but not a major issue. The set up and instructions were very easy to follow as well.I always straighten my hair in sections because of how thick and curly it is. Because of this I used the thick hair setting. Straight away i noticed I was having to go over each section 3 or 4 times more than normal to get it straight. I decided to use the boost button and ended up doing this on the rest of my hair.By the end of a normal day my hair is starting to get frizzy again and I noticed this happened sooner with the Braun satin hair 7. After using the straighteners for a few weeks now I also can't say I have seen an improvement in hair colour fading. After speaking to many of my friends some with same hair type as me I now know that the majority of them opt for the more expensive brands but I would definitely recommend the Braun to friends with normal fairly straight hair!Although my review isn't the most positive I believe if you have normal fairly straight hair these would be great! And at less than half the price of other brands would be a great alternative. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I was really excited to receive the email informing me that I was going to be sent the Satin Hair 7 Colour Saver Straighteners to use and review. They soon arrived and I couldn't wait for Saturday to try them out. With my hair washed and blown as usual it was now time to try them out. I have always thought of my hair as straight (as a poker in fact) but I was soon to find out that with a little help my hair could be really straight and also shiny. I plugged them in and was pleasantly surprised at how long the cable was and at how fast they got to the desired temperature. I used the lowest setting first as I have fine hair and they definitely glided over my hair and left it feeling soft and looking shiny too. Next I used the normal setting and the boost button and finally got rid of my one-sided frizz :) The real test will be in a few days time when I go on holiday, as when I have washed and blown my hair reasonably straight with some volume by the time I arrive where I'm going it's usually gone frizzy (at the one side) and really lank with the heat. I am really hoping that these straighteners will finally sort this out. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Having used my current straighteners for a number of years I was keen to try a new product!I have fine long hair so it is difficult to find hair products that don't make it look flat and dull. My first impression of the straighteners were that they were quite bulky and the cable was very thick. They were easy and quick to turn on and adjust the settings without having to read the manual! Even though they were bulky they were easy to handle and the thick plate made straightening quicker than my current ones. They reached temperature very quickly and the design made it difficult to burn yourself which is great!I section my hair to straighten and they were very effective and I didn't have to re-go over any hair which reduces the damage to my hair which is great news. The boost button is great to for difficult areas which refuse to straighten! :) I bleach dye my hair so it is prone to dryness and it becomes dull very quickly. I must admit that I didn't see a drastic improvement/change in the colour since using this product however I suppose it is quite difficult to notice a difference in a short period of time. After using the product for the past few weeks I would defiantly recommend this product to friends as it is cheaper than the majority of premium brands which I think produce the same result! Great product, reasonable price and easy to use!!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I have an inverted bob hairstyle which I have to colour regularly to hide the grey! Excited to be asked to try the Satin 7 straighteners, I eagerly awaited the arrival of them. My first impression was very mixed, the cord was a decent length and aesthetically they look great, I loved the metallic control insert. I must admit I did think they looked a little larger than other straighteners and wondered if this would have any effect on the performance/ handling of them. Having now tried them out for a while I can honestly say I needn't have worried. Satin 7 are very easy to handle and use, not at all cumbersome as I thought they were going to be. The controls are easy to understand and to set. I love the boost button, which increases the temperature by 20c for 20 seconds. This eliminates the one stubborn kink I have in my hair. I must also praised the on/off button as well, as I can now safely go to work knowing that I have turned them off even if I haven't unplugged them. No more frantic calls home to ask my son to check that I have unplugged them!! I have been using them on the medium thickness setting and have been extremely impressed on how great they work on my hair. As i said earlier I have coloured hair which I usually find dries out, especially at the ends after straightener use, but not with these ones. My hair still appears to be soft and silky and noticeably different after use. Instructions are very clear and the product it easy to use. Overall I am impressed and can highly recommend them to any sceptics out there. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I was so excited. When these were delivered. Theybarenlovely in design and easy to use. The lead length is amazing. I did notice however. A loudish humming/buzzing noise when turned on and when in use which was annoying and I thought that the clamps did jot jipnup tight enough to drag my long thick curly hair strait. Before buying id like to know if the buzz is characteristic or a one off. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
On the whole these are a great easy to use tool for fab hair. It heats quickly with traffic light system lights for warming, nearly ready then use and has very easy to use buttons even I could manage! Haven't used long enough to see if my colour lasts longer but with the heat being changed for the thickness of your hair I would assume it will. The only down part I found is very big for shorter hair which if they had a small option I would definitely purchase. All round 4/5 scored for the Braun satin hair colour 7 [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
